Ertug Kovanci, M.D.

Dr. Ertug Kovanci is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialist with over 10 years of experience. He completed his postgraduate education at prestigious medical institutions such as Yale University and Baylor College of Medicine. He was an assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine for several years.

Dr. Kovanci has authored or co-authored multiple scientific articles on reproductive system in world renowned journals. He has been a co-investigator for several National Institutes of Health (NIH) sponsored research projects and has been invited to lecture at national and international meetings. Dr. Kovanci also has received numerous awards including the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s “Star Award” for several years in row, the Society for Gynecologic Investigation’s “President’s Presenter Award” and the Fulbright and Jaworski LLP “Faculty Excellence Award for Teaching”. He has also been selected a “top doctor” by Houstonia Magazine.

He has combined his scientific knowledge and expertise with his clinical acumen and skills to serve his patients best. His clinical expertise includes assisted reproductive technologies such as intrauterine insemination (IUI), in vitro fertilization (IVF), preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) and fertility preservation such as egg freezing. He is a consummate surgeon who routinely performs reproductive system surgeries such myomectomy (removal of fibroids), DaVinci robotic assisted minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

Dr. Kovanci is glad to provide a patient-centric care that will ensure his patients are comfortable with their management plan. He considers his children as his biggest achievement in life.
